About the Coronation Garden

Penrith's Coronation Garden has a series of interpretation panels and sculptures along an historical time line...

  • to raise awareness, understanding and appreciation of the town's rich heritage
  • to strengthen pride and pleasure in our local surroundings
  • to create a sensory garden experience incorporating a variety of colours, scents and textures

Family activity packs, suitable for up to two children of age range approximately 3-13, are available from the Tourist Information Centre. Have fun.

Have a look at our welcome banners designed by members of the local community - and our photo slide show of the garden.

This guide was compiled and published by the Rotary Club of Penrith with funding assistance from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
